About Me
Freelance graphic designer supporting agencies and organisations across the UK.
What I do
I’m an experienced freelance graphic designer based in West Wales, specialising in publication and report document design. I support agencies and organisations across the UK with clear, structured and professionally crafted design — from strategic reports to ongoing marketing materials.
What I've done
I’ve worked with organisations including the National Library of Wales, Reader’s Digest, The Welsh Books Council, B&E Creative and Meat Promotion Wales, shaping complex information into clear, engaging and thoughtfully structured design. I enjoy bringing order to detailed content — balancing typography, pace and visual hierarchy to create documents that feel confident, accessible and purposeful.
What Services I'm Providing
Here’s what I do:
Publication & report design
Annual reports, strategic plans, Journals, newsletters, consultation documents and policy publications — carefully structured for clarity, impact and readability. Professionally designed assets that communicate confidence, organisation and attention to detail under tight deadlines.
Marketing & campaign design
Brochures, magazines, journals, newsletters, brand collateral and campaign materials that extend and strengthen your visual communications. Motion graphics using Adobe After Effects.
Work Experience
Experience across agency, publishing, client-facing, and in-house design roles.
I started as a Junior Designer at StrataMatrix and later progressed to a Creative role, working on pitches, scoping and pricing projects, and managing a network of freelance talent. I worked with a range of clients, including BT, the Welsh Government, WDA, HCC and Castle Cement.
At Reader’s Digest in London, I worked as a graphic designer within the publishing department, creating layouts and visual content for the Around Britain book series.
At the Welsh Books Council, I worked as a designer creating book covers, magazines, and marketing materials. I also supported publishers by offering advice on their publications, and commissioned designers and photographers to help bring projects to life.
At Gomer Press, I worked as a graphic designer in the publishing department, designing book covers and creating templates to support other designers. I helped develop visual identities for book series aimed at both children and adults, and worked closely with the marketing team to produce promotional materials for books and events.
At Meat Promotion Wales, I worked as an in-house graphic designer within the marketing team, collaborating closely with the comms team. My role covered everything from exhibition design and recipe books to social media content, technical livestock documents, and educational materials. I took pride in creating clear, effective design across a wide range of outputs, always ensuring consistency with HCC’s brand guidelines.
